Gbolahan Faleye

Gbolahan was most recently Executive Director of Global Business Development at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, responsible for the Institute's and Tony Blair's engagements with business, philanthropy and government across around 50 markets. He is an expert in global growth, scaling international partnerships, and developing impact products with investors for social change, with a particular focus on the strategy and relationship management that helps mission-driven organisations reach financial sustainability.
He has held executive and non-executive roles driving strategic change in organisations of public sensitivity across Europe and globally, with a career spanning the private, public and third sectors. During the Covid-19 pandemic he helped stand up programmes supporting African governments and multilateral agencies, including vaccination roll-out, and has since worked with partners to mobilise funding and scale solutions to challenges from the Middle East peace process to the war in Ukraine and climate change. In 2022 he conceived and embedded TBI's Global Network for Change, a platform bringing major business and government together to deliver systems change.
He is a Board Director of Stonewall, one of Europe's largest LGBTQ+ charities, and of the Carbon Trust, holds dual Nigerian and UK citizenship, and speaks regularly at global forums including Devex World, the ADB Annual Meeting and the AVPN Conference.
