Kuziva Huni

Kuziva brings seventeen years of experience in funding strategy, blended finance and investment mobilisation across African markets. She has advised executive teams, boards and funders across education, workforce development, energy transition and financial inclusion, leading engagements that have mobilised more than USD 500 million in philanthropic and catalytic investment.

Her engagements include leading the organisation-wide strategy and funding proposition that helped Fika secure The Audacious Project award; developing implementation strategy for South Africa's Presidential Youth Employment Initiative; and leading partnership strategy for the Mastercard Foundation's Young Africa Works programme in Ghana, working toward its goal of enabling five million young people into dignified work by 2030. She has also directed the institutional transformation and capital restructuring of the Land Bank of South Africa, and led ecosystem diagnostics for the Millennium Challenge Corporation's USD 62 million private-sector growth compact in Lesotho.

She is a Non-Executive Director of Just Share, a South African non-profit company, with board oversight of governance, funding compliance and donor accountability, and a Non-Executive Director of Governance Advisory Services. Based between Johannesburg and Nairobi, she holds an MBA from the African Leadership University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from the Yale School of the Environment.
